Marco Rubio really really wants to intervene in Venezuela for some reason, and he's running half the executive branch so they kinda have to keep him happy.

So who's he actually planning to go to war with? I haven't heard any bluster about Greenland in a while, and his relationship with Ukraine is more nuanced than I was expecting so I don't see him joining that war on Russia's side either, at least not any time soon.
The american ambassador was just called to the government in denmark to explain the covert operations they were performing to undermine denmarks rule. And while it has been a few weeks, trump still trots out "canada as the 51st" because he thinks it'll intimidate us.

So basically anyone in the world except russia at this point.

He doesn't have to go to war with anyone to get intimidation points. Of course, at this point, people are more afraid of his idiocy than his actual threats.

It's brinkmanship: Trump is deliberately* provoking everyone, it's just a question of who will respond first (I'm hoping it's Death).

(* As much as a creature like him is capable of deliberation.)

Except trump is so ******* dumb he doesn't realize the world has ALREADY responded: and we opted to simply cut the US out of our economies.

I mean, you say that, but until I see the rest of the world openly imposing outright sanctions on us—like they SHOULD, as punishment for electing an out-and-proud FASCIST as head of state—no you haven't.

1.) why would we punish you for holding an election? You're a democracy: punish your own leaders. That's the point.
2.) Most of the rest of the world has, in fact, imposed retaliatory tariffs; and directly targeting your economy is a sanction. When combined with boycotts and travel warnings: how have you not been sanctioned?

Yeah, alright, fine. Not real sanctions, I get it. Trump is also doing unprecedented jive: and no one wants to openly piss off the demented, bloated, ignorant liar and thief in chief who's as petty as a 13 year old white girl named karen. What action will take him from make bloated, ignorant threats to... blowing up fishing boats? The world is trying to ignore trump for the same reason they "ignore" the other dictators: they don't want to be the ones who find the line.

Oh, it is. He's skipping straight to the "then they came for me" part of the poem because he's too impatient to put it off any longer. We've discovered who are the Jews to his Hitler, and it was never the Mexicans, or trans people, or any other minority. It's everyone who doesn't worship the ground he walks on.

Because he was never a latter-day Hitler at all. He's a latter-day Nebuchadnezzar. Expect the giant golden statue to be announced any day now.

You said you "cut the US out of your economies." The only way to do that is to cease all trade with it. Otherwise it's not a cutting out, just a cutting back. Words mean things, dammit.

And you can't redirect a global reaching economy on a ******* dime here man. It's an ongoing process to NOT buy from US sources and change them. We're not the ones being lead by nurgling.

I think the past week has made more than clear. He's planning to go to war with the American people, specifically those living in "liberal" cities. He's even starting to say so out loud....

Whoever it takes to keep his cult too busy being outraged to notice how everything he's done has been, or soon will be, utterly catastrophic. If they're too busy yelling at Chicago, he hopes they won't notice when the food shortages pick up because he had all the immigrant workers rounded up.

Thankfully, an army marches on its stomach: a lot of the fight will be out of them when the beer and burgers are gone.

Oddly, while things are still getting worse: the unending epstein controversy is actually taping down the threat of open revolt. Even his cult isn't supporting him on this, and every day more of them are realizing that trump is lying. While he'll still have his absolute undying loyal voters: there's not a lot of them all told. The military won't actively go to war with the population: they've rolled enough regimes to know that trump is on his way out and they want jobs once he's gone, and you don't get to keep your billet if you violate the law for the weak and floundering regime. It's the same reason why "people" like traitor green are suddenly not marching in lockstep anymore: they're trying to salvage the midterm run.

Economically though: it's not even begun to get bad. And that's what's going to kill trump: squawking about everything is great and it's a golden age... when people are being evicted and starving.

Edit: and for the folks that are gonna come at me with "There won't be a midterm": you don't fight this hard over gerrymandering if you don't intend to have a vote. This is what their panic looks like.

They've covered that. If they win the midterms, they go full fascism and make current events look like a playground spat. If they lose, the Big Bullshitiful Bill goes into effect, and they blame it all on the Dems.

The Gerrymandering is the back-up plan in case plan A fails, and I don't favor the odds of that happening.

They need the illusion of elections at the very least. Midterms will happen. They will try and rig them, we just have to turn out in large enough numbers said rigging won't be effective.
