You may test that assumption at your convinience.

Remember folks: the republican congress could have stopped all of this literally any day. They chose not to.

"I went to see that play 'Less Mizzerubbles' yesterday. Very bad play. Just a bunch of poor people whining, and none of them mentioned me at all. Didn't hear my name once. Very bad play. And they never showed Les. They named the play after Les Miserables, you'd think he'd show up to his own play. Is he related to Les Moonves? I know Les Moonves. Very rich man. Not as rich as me, but still, very rich man. Les Moonves doesn't have a play, but I bet he'd show up if he did, unlike the other Les. Unlike Les Miserables. Someone should make a play about me. Wouldn't you like to see that? Wouldn't you like someone to make Donald Trump: The Play? I'd go see that. Someone should make Donald Trump: The Play. It'd be the greatest play ever, all about how I'm the greatest president ever. It'd be the greatest play ever shown on Broadway. If anyone wants to make Donald Trump: The Play, I'll license my name to them cheap. Fairly cheap. Not that cheap. My name's very valuable, you know. Very valuable. Most valuable name in the world. And the greatest name. Greatest, most valuable name in the world."

He may be a fan.

Les Mis was briefly part of his rally playlist after the whole basket of deplorables thing, complete with the gigantic Les Deplorables backdrop.

A document the Department of Health and Human Services sent to lawmakers to support Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s decision to change U.S. policy on COVID vaccines cites scientific studies that are unpublished or under dispute and mischaracterizes others.

One health expert called the document "willful medical disinformation" about the safety of COVID vaccines for children and pregnant women.

This is what their constituents voted for. Let 'em have it. Why shouldn't they have to suffer for their poor choices?

Issue isn't THEM, though, it's the people who voted against said politicians. They are going to be punished just as much as those who voted for them and those who didn't bother to vote despite being able to. Not to mention all those ineligible to vote for varying reasons who will also have to suffer under this insanity.

I know. I'm not rooting for the suffering of the people who tried to prevent this, and I'm not going to take any enjoyment from it when it happens. If I could stop it, I would. But it's not going to be stopped, so I'm going to do the only thing I can do: Nelson-laugh at the people who enabled it when they suffer.
