I'm not talking about how they lie about what was done or said or what they intend to do or what someone else intends to do. I'm talking about publicly saying things that can just be looked up in the dictionary.
You're acting like 1) they're base either knows how to use a dictionary or even cares to pick one up and 2) they don't just dismiss it as bias or lies whenever the news media and/or Democrats correct what a particular Trumpian says.

That moron invited the President of South Africa to the White House so he could publicly confront him about a conspiracy theory and tell him what is happening in South Africa.

Assuming that 47 wasn't delusional, and that he was actually correct about what was going on in South Africa (and that the SA government was hiding it, as is the contention), I'm not sure what else he would have been expected to do....

I mean, there's plenty about 47 that's moronic and worthy of criticism, especially vis-a-vis his South African policy, but inviting the SA President to the WH to confront him doesn't seem like one of those things....

It is. In response, the President of South Africa said that he was sorry he didn't have a plane he could just give Trump. Trump responded by saying he'd accept a plane from him. Add sarcasm to the list of things Trump doesn't understand.

Next week, he's going to badmouth the South African president for reneging on his promise to give Trump another plane.

I mean, it isn't HIS delusion, but it is a debunked conspiracy and the the South African President was trying hard to get that pointed out.

If there is a genocide going on, you take it to UN or World Court. You don't invite someone over and scold them on TV. The latter is just virtue signaling and the signal is very weak.

I've heard of the "white genocide" conspiracy theory that white people are being purposely fed anti-procreation propaganda to try to drive them to extinction, but this is the first time I've heard that there are people who believe literal genocide against whites is happening... well, anywhere really.

Fox News ran it several years ago and Trump got interested then. So did a family member of mine.

It is like Killers of the Flower Moon, but white people in South Africa and fictional.

hug me, I dodged a bullet by buying a new Mac last month. At least 6 months earlier than I intended. Which is not ideal.

Can we all agree that sabotaging one of America’s biggest global brands is insanity?

If we all joined together in one voice and told Donald that he was amazing, wise, and virile and he has already put America on an inevitable path to perfection, do you think we could talk him into going ahead and retiring?

FB friend:
PSA: the whole reason you have an impeachment process is for situations such as a president thinking he's above the constitution. But the people who created this process didn't realize that such a president could only get elected in the first place if a large fraction of the population had been successfully programmed to not care about the constitution before the election, so it would never work in practice. You'd never be able to get the votes you need.
The Trump movement is overwhelmingly composed of the sort of person who thinks that all progress comes from violence.

Seriously, that may sound absurd but that's what they think: they heard that wars cause scientific progress, then they made what they believe to be a logical conclusion and concluded that scientific progress comes from war.

Moreover, they also believe that social progress comes from violence. They see the American Revolution as the cause of all human rights in the world, and they see the American 2nd Amendment as a guarantor of rights, because they believe that violence, or the threat of violence, is the great cause and protector of social progress.

Basically, these people believe that everything good comes from violence.
American liberals and progressives want the rest of the world to believe that everything will be better "once the fever breaks".

But out here in the rest of the world, we don't think it's a fever. We see it more as a case of herpes. Even if you get it under control, you're going to have it forever, and every now and then it will flare up.

Not only that, but they believe that liberals think that way, too, and can easily justify their own violence by pointing to the violence of the other side, whenever and wherever it exists (no matter how poorly representative it may be).
