If solving crime permanently depends on Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.) being in charge for a day, why are we voting for Trump? Why isn't Kelly on the ballot?

I read and then skimmed the synopsis of "The Purge". Skimming when it became apparent that it wasn't going to explain the mechanism of action. Does the movie make it make sense or is it just a nonsense background for a horror movie? Is it that people get it out of their system? Or good people go kill the bad people when they get a chance? Or the population is seriously depleted and there are way more resources to go around?

I don't think what Trump is suggesting has anything but a tangential relation to "The Purge". I think he wants us to believe that if we just got all the illegal immigrants all at once and deported them, there wouldn't be crime anymore. Not some regular event where everyone would do crimes.

Axaday, Trump is talking about a Night of a Thousand Knives. I implore you to look that up.

Ironbite-it's one of the ways the Nazis seized power and Trump loooooooooooves Hitler.

The movies do acknowledge that the Purge makes no economic sense, yes. It's really just an excuse to kill poor people and minorities.

I'll leave it up to you to decide how and if that relates to Trump's proposed policies.

As is often the case, Trump did not propose a policy. He floated out a vague idea to excite horrible people who can fill in the details in their own heads.

Do you suppose Dump is talking about Kamala Harris' McDonalds career as if it is one of the important issues facing America today because McDonalds is so precious and sacred to him that it cannot be sullied by a communist having worked there?

You realize he's not being sarcastic, and is just a misogynist sociopath, right?
Essentially, yes. I didn't take a close look. The answer is probably out there. I kinda had a feeling that what he meant was that the issue of rape was inconvenient for the ProLife position.

It's a funny soundbyte, but he was better in context.

I don't know if it is the TRUTH. Well, at least I am pretty sure that Kamala Harris wasn't personally involved, but he didn't just say "They promised I would get to lie". He said they were only legal because Harris decided to make them legal. Substitute Harris to some immigration authority and what he said is truthy if not actually true.

Sailing close to using the awful ephitet Bongo Bongo Land (no idea if that’s a known term in North America, but here it’s a Tory/Reform racist term for generic Africa country).
