As a former President, the secret service isn't something you can just waive away (well, 45 could, but the judge can't, nor can the state). Seriously, the costs are there, and they're not optional.

Which is why I brought up the concept of NOT putting him in general prison. Like in an FBI safe house under house arrest, or maybe a secret service detainment cell. I'm sure that once they were actually intent on doing it, it would happen fairly quickly and easily.

Okay, once more for the record:

Trump LITERALLY CANNOT LEGITIMATELY WIN. The math simply does not support it. He's losing voters to attrition and his political positions have driven away the independents and moderates. He had razor thin margins in 2016, lost in 2020 and his tantrums over it have driven MORE PEOPLE away from not only HIM but the republican party in general.

Make sure you're registered to vote. Help your family and friends make sure they are registered to vote. Make plans to get all of y'all out to the polls on election day. He will lose in november, and he will lose worse if you get as many people as possible out to vote, and vote blue all the way down the ticket. Rub salt into that narcissists wound and send him packing to the dementia ward of a federal prison.

Stormy Daniels' testimony surprised me.

When I heard years ago that he'd paid to cover up an affair with a pornstar, they called it an affair and my concept was pretty much that. Biases of mine will show here, but Donald Trump and a pornstar read very easily to me as people with no compunctions about carrying on a casual affair. But that's not her testimony. Her testimony is "Me too" stuff that really might make an impact on some voters. This is an old rich guy dangling some TV fame and drawing a woman into a power struggle. It only happened once and after that she was careful to avoid falling into another trap.

A great many red hats are, of course, going to say she just made it up to score some money, but I think there are going to be some people in the middle that are going to hear about this and feel like it adds up.

I can easily imagine that the secret service has a facility of their own that they could use, but I don't know that they do.

For more than one thing depending on how well they succeed. Statistically: 99% of them are wantonly incompetent and incapable. But there's more than enough of them out there that the volume of that 1% starts getting scary. A lot of people whom have nothing to do with anything are receiving death threats just because they have family ties to someone in the court.

I get why no one wants to do it: other than breaking the seal and making trump into ultimate wanna be martyr. It's probably going to trigger something. He has to go to jail. He needed to go to jail three ******* years ago when they found folders marked "top secret" in his shitter. He needs to be jailed now to prove that the justice system is not so totally corrupt and owned by the rich.
