Recently, I keep receiving notifications from Google about new episodes of Beast Wars premiering "tonight", when every "new episode" each notification is referring to is just one of the pre-existing episodes from back in the 90s, with Google simply applying a new airdate to each for no fathomable reason. Today's "new episode" given today's date as it's airdate is "The Agenda (Part 1)".

Yeah, I've been getting those too. Weird.

So, uh... I just got an email from pulse apologizing for my order taking so long to ship... anyone with some experience interested in telling me how well this bodes for me getting my order?

I got the same email. I have several things on pre-order, so I'm not even sure which one they're talking about.

Alright, so since it shipped: it's gone from georgia (the state.) up to the local bulk transport airport... and fedex still doesn't have a delivery estimate. To put it in perspective: it's no more than an hour to drive to mirabel (the airport.) depending on traffic.

No kidding. I just opened my package, have put my hearts of steel box on the shelf to await opening... and fedex is still saying it's on the truck to regional sorting.

Die cast metal causes more problems than it solves and most of the time it's just there for the weight chasers anyway.
For a so-called "lost art", it certainly refuses to stay lost.

Unfortunately, the people who buy high-end Japanese toys of robots hold it in very high regard. Personally, most of my Chogokins can't support their own weight after a year or so.

Fools and their money. I've never understood the draw. But it's very telling that the people I know of who insist on die-cast or praise it being included in new toys as some glorious gift from suddenly generous toymakers (whom they'll turn around and call greedy for something else) are the exact same people who will trot out any of 13 different "it's not what I had when I was 5, therefore it sucks" clichés given the opportunity.

I like when people justify ridiculous prices by saying “it has diecast” when Matchbox cars have more metal than most collector pieces and cost pennies in comparison.

Murphy’s Law states that anything that can go wrong will eventually go wrong. Postulating the inverse if the item’s purpose is to go wrong, it will eventually turn out right.
