Rewatching a old anime movie: on DVD Highlander: the Serach for Vengence, mostly set in the 2185, a ruined New York City, following Collin McCloud and his never ending quest for revenge, the story starts in Scottland or England, over two thousand years prior to the main story, during the Roman invasion and Collin is the leader of a small Clan that chosen to stand against the Romans, but things do not go as planned and he dies along with his Clan, but most importantly, he lover is also killed, so he pretty much pissed for two thousand years as he seeks to kill the man responible for that deed!

Finished a class I've been taking this summer. May have squeaked under the wire on getting it done and getting the transcript request in, too, so there's a possibility of a raise this year instead of having to wait one more year. Now I can get back to some of the projects I've started and set aside.

I'm very happy that I splurged on the top of class MOBO and power supply when I built this computer. The power has gone out twice in the last 24 hours, and she's bounced back like nothing happened.

I've never had a computer struggle getting back to life after a power outage, and I suffered through a decade with a power supply from freaking Rocketfish. Is that a thing that can happen?

You shoulda bought a lottery ticket instead of computer that day. I've lost two computers to power outages: one was an accident when a storm blew through and the second was strictly and deliberately hydroquebecs fault for not warning of impending action which is required by law.

I bought a box of break time chocolate chip cookies. A handful of those and a cup of tea is the best two bucks you can spend.

Had two really good TTRPG sessions today.

The first one we fought an aberration and for one I got to make good use of the "Protection form Good and Evil" spell(and help rescue some ghost kittens) then we tracked down the Malarite instigators of its transformation and Luna(my werewolf paladin) got to properly verbally and physically tear into the enemy werewolf - a literal dogfight before she realized she was losing and bailed. Oh, that fight isn't over, not by a long shot.

Then in the session after that using Nimble(think of it as a rules-light D&D 5e)we managed to beat down some sort of demon thing, and now we're trying to help the townsfolk evacuate while one PC(who is some sort of reincarnated dead god) is trying to distract the BBEG. My gnoll druid's gotten to go full bear tank and she's been tanking good, but we also realized we'd been misreading a rule so she's gonna get a bit more squishy when we resume.

Also got a commission back(technically yesterday) super-quickly of my gnoll from that second campaign cooking for a couple of our party members. Too tired tonight to post it though.

Oh, and had a really good run of the daily strikes in Guild Wars 2, and actually stayed up until the end of Boneskinner for once.
