*confused kermit*

It's still 10 celsius above zero up here. I spent the morning in the yard raking leaves and actually got a decent sweat going. I took my walk with my thinnest hoodie ONLY because I wanted the easy pocket for my music box.

I'm tired of being hot.

Currently, here its between 0°C & 1°C where I am and its dark, its going to get warmer tomorow as the forecast says its going to be a max of 5 around midday before dropping back down to 1, with the sky remaining clear, so a White Christmas is very unlikely for my area as it rarely snows here, most Christmas time its either dry or raining, snow, no chance, its been YEARS since it snowed at Christmas, prehaps if one travels up north more! As for leafs, while one of the lawns does get them, when the spring arrives, any remaining get turned into TINY pieces when I take the mower out and trim the lawn

Found out earlier today that this year's MST3k Turkey Day Marathon will include Final Sacrifice for the first time in YEARS!!!(they also somehow roped Mark Hamill into doing some bits during breaks in the Gamera vs Jiger episode, one of my favorites from season 13)

I understand all of those words. But in the line you've created, it sounds like gibberish. Glad you're enjoying it though! (y)

I just got my memory cards, so I can start upgrading my anbernic when I get some free time.

"It's an ass kicking, it's supposed to hurt." God, why did two such stupid characters get such an awesome line.

Anywho: I got the new OS image flashed and working, now I just need to install the actual... software. Which will take more effort, I need to read the guide on the folder structure.

Edit: for the life of me; I cannot find the storage folders. They were supposed to be created when the flashed os card booted in the system the first time. I can see the system drive, but not the storage. *glances at PC SD card reader, sitting next to monitor mount, not plugged into PC in any way... still holding the storage SD card.*

Yeah, that would do it. I'm better at this than I thought; It's not supposed to be able to start without the second SD card in.

I work today, but most of the other departments don't. That made for a fairly light work load.

Best part is, a bunch of us decided to order Thanksgiving lunch from Cracker Barrel. I way overate. But I ain't complaining. It was delicious!

I tried Cracker Barrel during that road trip with my dad a few years ago. I liked it.

Anyway, I got invited to a Thanksgiving dinner and had a very good time. I had turkey, stuffing (with mushrooms), mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans, broccoli, cranberry sauce, and samples of various pies. Key lime was the best. I was in pain for a while but I regret nothing. I needed that.

I figured out that I'm allergic to lentils. Same reaction as peas.

So it sucks RIGHT NOW, but good to know.

Got my next legendary weapon made in Guild Wars 2 (Frenzy, the harpoon gun), and with that my main is now fully equipped in legendary gear, minus the rebreather(which there is no legendary of yet) and some runes/sigils, which is a minor thing anyways.

I went to the Exchange (local-ish secondhand media/collectibles store, think GameStop crossed with an independent record store) for their Black Friday Weekend sale; saw that their meager GameCube game collection had three copies of Metroid Prime. They've NEVER had more than one copy of any Nintendo game for the GameCube. Still $40 ($36 on sale) and I don't want to play that version, but still, it's telling me that (A) people are actually buying the Switch remake, and (B) they're liking it enough to finally be willing to part with their old copies. Hopefully A means Nintendo is going to put out remakes of 2 and 3 soon, and B means the price of the Wii trilogy will finally drop back to a reasonable level.

Oh, and I did actually pick up a $25 ($20 sale price) Blu-Ray complete set of Avatar: the Last Airbender which I've always wanted to check out and never got the chance. I rarely see TV shows on Blu-Ray there, probably because they tend to be bought by people who intend to keep them forever.

I have the remake, so I really have no reason to go back to the GameCube or even the Wii version. But there are some physical copies that, even if I do have an updated version of it, the only way you're getting my original copy is if you pry it from my cold dead fingers.

In any case, it's always good to hear when a franchise you like is (finally) doing well.
