Well hell, I "liked" that one originally and everything! I'm old now. My memory isn't what it once was.

Slingshot has the wings on his legs like Leader-1 does. If anything he just needs Air Raid's chest to mimic the vents he has on his.
I was thinking Air Raid for the alt mode and the chest, yeah. But you are correct, Slingshot definitely has the head (it's actually just about perfect!) and the leg wings. Neither of them are quite 100% correct.
Really, Hasbro just needs to throw caution to the wind and make a dedicated Leader-1 mold.
Yeah, I get that Air Raid is the right Jet mode, but as I doubt we will ever see dedicated new mold Gobots, due to the kerfluffle of rights issues; I'd rather have a mostly accurate looking robot mode then a completely accurate vehicle mode. Similar somewhat to Crasher. She's not the right car, but her robot mode is about as close as they can make it, and toyhax sticker can help furhter it.
No, that's totally fair. I'd love a good Voyager sized Leader-1, basically the same size as the Kingdom/Earthrise Seekers. All of them transform incorrectly to have the right parts in the right place for robot mode, though.
