The ORC License first draft has been published and is open for public comment

As the title indicates there ORC license draft has been released. For anyone who's been following the Wizard's OGL fiasco which has seemed to have calmed down for the most part, you know that a consortium of other game developers lead by Paizo have been working on their own open game license.

This was just posted on their blog and it's only about 4 pages long with a lot of similarities to the Wizards OGL 1.1

5 pages total, including definitions and an example. That alone is a good reason for a small creator to embrace this.

Well 5 pages is better than 200 pages but not nearly as succinct as the original OGL.

I'll have to look over this but I still feel like it's mildly redundant since it's system agnostic anyway
