So far, I only have 1 sample to share, but one of the Walmarts near me had the Soccer Transformer, Breakaway, marked down to $10. Maybe because the World Cup is winding down, maybe because the US is out of the running, or maybe because that store is clearancing out a lot of toys, or maybe a combination of all 3?
Either way, if this was a figure you were interested in, might be a good time to check your local Walmarts.

Mine pretty much only had NFL figures on clearance. They WAY over ordered on those, anyway. I'm located in Central Illinois, so I'm not sure there were 50 people in my town that are big enough fans of the Kansas City Chiefs to want to buy that figure. Tundra Prime seems to have sold a bit better, but that is the rival to our "home" team of the Bears, so maybe people bought one anticipating a display standing the two off as enemies?

The same Walmart had the Chiefs Transformers (but not the other one) on clearance last week for $10. My boss is a Chiefs fan, so I went ahead and picked a couple up. Not a football fan myself but I do like having examples of "weird" Transformers merch.

I was able to snag the Cowboy's one on clearance but all the KC ones were still regular price at my local Walmart.

Actually, it’s one of several 3rd Party sellers. Amazon’s own price is $56. That’s the case with a LOT of the cheap Leaders (Apelinq for $25!), they are 3rd party sellers…if that makes a difference.

But they DO have a coupon to get Overcharge for $29 and Animated Wreck Gar to $28. Another coupon makes the Studio Series RotF 3 pack down to $76

It's expired, it seems. It was just a blanket "30% off Action Figures" coupon. For Prime members, such coupons are usually listed below the original price in green.


Ironically, I stopped at Ross and found the Amazon exclusive Revenge of the Fallen 3 pack for $60, just after seeing Amazon coupon theirs down to $75

At Ollies, I found United Wave 1 Leaders at $30 (G2 Prime and Tigerhawk) and Wave 25 of Studio Series Voyagers (RotB Optimus Prime in standard retail packaging and WfC Skywarp) for $25. I want to say the Leaders had cropped up before and might have been buried stock, but the Voyagers I've not seen there before.

I don't collect Joes, but I have to admit I'd be tempted to get that at $35. Have him hang out with my Alternators.

I found him on clearance a few months back for about that much. He's definitely worth the price. My only complaint is the guns are kinda lame, but the hands are standard 5mm holes, so it's not hard to just find him something better.

It's a pretty awesome Kup. If you can find him at a Ross, I would definitely recommend picking him up at that price. The transformation is fairly intuitive, he's very stable for a large Transformer, and poses well. Plus, who doesn't like Sgt Slaughter?

Also, FWIW, the Joes are individually carded inside the box, and a lot of people sell them to Joe collectors who aren't into Transformers...

My only complaint is the guns are kinda lame, but the hands are standard 5mm holes, so it's not hard to just find him something better.

I actually found a second Recoil Targetmaster at a vintage toy shop in Ohio for $1, and use him for Triple-T Kup. I just wish his robot mode was Joe-sized.

So far, he's just about the only TF/GI Joe Crossover I haven't picked up. If I see him at Ross for 35 bucks though, he'd be hard to pass up.

Woot! I went on my lunchbreak and I found GI JOE Kup at the Ross closest to my work! They also had Red Soundwave for $9. The Ross near my house didn't have Kup but it had the G2 dinobot set for $54 and a weird vinyl G1 Megatron for $16. Also a dancing Optimus Prime. I was very tempted to get the prime just to annoy the wife and pets.
