So Brock Lesnar has officially announced his retirement on the Pat MacAfee show, and its being reported by ESPN, so maybe it's true this time.
Summer slam is over, and everything went as expected. The one exception is that Kevin Owens is back and is the number 1 contender.

This bothers me too. It is pretty bad with Oba. Like he gets the living crap beat out of him for ten minutes then pops up like he just got out of the shower.
Takes a beating from BROOOOCK LESSNAARRR and three F5s, pops up immediately after the third one like he just stepped into the ring. These moves have been established as heavily damaging, and he just can't shrug them off because when he does, Oba pops the bubble and takes us out of the story they are telling. He needs to kick out and look like he needs to go to the hospital. He needs to be able to barely hold his own. He needs to come out of this by the skin of his teeth, not some unstoppable super hero that shines in the spotlight, but a broken, damaged, drained warrior that just had the fight of his life.
I thought it was to make Oba look like an even bigger monster than Brock Lesnar? The NEXT Next Big Thing?
In what should be no surprise to anyone, Brock Rechsteiner (son of Scott Steiner) has been suspended for six games by the New Orleans Saints, rumored to be because of a wellness policy violation, I.E. PED's/Steroids. Although I'd say that's a little unfair, since he was probably born with steroids in his system.

So, seeing Jacob Fatu out of character, I want him to stay out of character, as this guy is a trip to listen to.
So Punk vs Kevin Owens in Canada for the title on Smackdown. It was a great match, with Punk playing the heel as it was KO's home town. KO had most of the offense for the first half, giving the champ a heavy beating. Punk turned it around and got most of the offense in the last half. Ref gets knocked out of the ring, by getting hit twice. Then we get both finishers and the crowd counting for both people. Sami shows up and attacks punk sends him in the ring and throws the ref into the ring and KO gets a long two count. Sami hands KO the belt, but KO turns it down. "Not like this. Not this time". And Sami attacks KO. Punk hits the GTS and 1 2 3 to retain the belt. Sami then attacks both Punk and KO as Smackdown goes off the air. Should be a good feud, but Sami needs some heel music.
Overall, it was great match, especially on free tv.

So this weekend we are having a Sunday Night Main Event instead of a Saturday Night Main event. 6 woman tag match to start it off. Then Baron Corbin vs Trick Williams, after Trick goes 5 minutes against some guy. Oba vs Bronn Breaker should be a decent match. I am hoping that we see something good there. I think that Bronn has been lingering too long and needs to get out of the vision and get back to his road to stardom. Then we get Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes to finish it up. I hope that we see Randy win and get his shot at #15.

It's Lil Yachty vs Baron Corbin in a 5 minute challenge. Obviously Yachty survives the 5 minutes by Corbin playing with his food too long and outside interference from Trick.

Well, I listened to Matt talk about it, and I lost a lot of respect for Taker over it.

Sorry what? Matt's told the same story as Taker that it wasn't Taker's decision to replace him with Michele but the WWE thinking a husband/wife dynamic would breath new life into the show. NEVER MIND THE FACT! that Taker has been on record as to hating the fact that he's doing the podcast in the first place and it was only Matt's participation in it that really kept him going.

Mark chose to take what they built, despite Mark being dragged into it, and brought it over to the WWE. Mark 100% blindsided Matt with this change over. Matt is super gracious about it, but he also couldn't do a thing to stop it. Matt said it felt like it was a break-up or being fired. They started this as friends, and his friend stabbed him in the back for more money or more McCool. There was no reason not to bring Matt along with them, even if it was just as a producer. They just dropped him completely leaving him with half of a now defunct podcast, and even now Matt is a cheerleader for the new show. You got this guy that is a generally awesome person, and this happened to him by his friend.
So like I said, I lost respect for Mark for it.
