So, when I heard Hulk Hogan died, I ordered a figure from Amazon...which took a long ass time to get here (just arrived today). Between the time I ordered and the time it finally arrived, I learned about some of the things he's done including: snitching on some people trying to get WWE unionized (which without getting into my normal stance on unions, the working conditions of WWE I found out kinda make a union needed), and probably singlehandedly being the reason the WCW no longer exists.

Sooooo...whereas Hulk Hogan has always been one of my childhood heroes, I'm not quite sure what to say about Terry Bollea.

But in any case...this came today...and usually when I get a new toy, I like to show off. Not sure what to think this time.

If it makes you feel better, I picked up an NWO Hollywood Hogan figure the day he died, knowing full well the things he did in real life.

You just have to separate Hogan from Bollea, just like you would any actor and a role they played.

To be fair, Hogan was the top dog back then and didn't want to lose his spot, so of course he was going to rat to Vince about the union. (I should note, that I firmly believe that Unions are great and required, and the WWF could have used one, especially since most if not all the boys from Wrestlemania 1 are dead now.) However, I blame Ventura for not trying to do that the correct way. Just announcing it before all of the boys made it easy for word to get back to VInce, Hogan just told him first.

The WCW lawsuit thing was more of Vince Russo being a dumbass, and the Executives at TNT/TBS trying their hardest to get rid of wrestling and using that as an excuse.
