Yeah, a lot of people are mad about this as the see it as the reason Jay lost his title back to Gunther in just two months. Personally, I don't feel that Goldberg should get the blame for that.

Confirmed that this will be Goldberg's retirement match.
Why did they have to put the WHC on GUNTHER for this? The basis for this was set up a while ago and the title's not going to add ANYTHING to what is going to be a middling at best match with GUNTHER doing his damnedest to carry Goldberg bell to bell.
Unless Jey screwed up somehow/somewhere or ticked off a suit him dropping the belt is just puzzling. He doesn't have MITB. He's out of King of the Ring. Unless they're putting th original Bloodline back together to tkae down Solo and his ggons, Jey's just adrift now.
Now, if Ilja is close to coming back, then I can see why they crowned GUNTHER again. The title can add some extra juice for that feud to hype him as the only other person to convincingly dethrone GUNTHER. I also just want to see them beat 15 kinds of Hell out of each other again.

Goldberg wins in Atlanta, huge pop, and then Rollin's music hits. Faction comes out and attacks Goldberg, and Rollins cashes in, and gets the title.

I'm expecting something a little different. Goldberg wins, retires, and then John Cena gets to cut an epic promo on how his plan is half done - Goldberg is the last "real" WWE Champion, he'll be the real World Heavyweight Champion - wrestling is ruined.
It would be fitting for Goldberg to retire with the belt too since its supposed to be the old WCW one, where as Cena's belt is the WWF one. Still, I doubt that they would let him retire with it.

Well, isn't it called the Heavy Weight Championship. The Undisputed Title is the WWE one, which is why Cody had to get that one, as it was the one that Dusty had taken away from him in the Garden.
