I wonder if that was literally what he scanned. It explains everything, especially the crashing.
I just noticed that the shoulders and forearms of Bruticus-gun Shockwave lack the 5mm peg holes the Siege one had (according to pics, I own neither so far). So probably the old ship accessories won't work with it. I do wonder if this was why they removed the ship eye, maybe they're implying the gun is his default mode again without actually taking the risk of saying it? On that note, while I am not at the moment in the market for expensive upgrades, a simple top mounted 'sight' panel would make it nearly perfect for me.

Anywho! So I literally just went to a lot of trouble to get the constructicons. Had to scrounge around a fair bit, and split my order into two different stores... they're releasing a complete box set. Yup.

The chaos gremlin within kind of wants Hasbro to add G2 to Studio Series and use screencaps of the janky CGI used in the original commercials.
I had to explain to a younger relative at the weekend that the SS86 Soundwave I had just impulse bought doesn't transform into "an old VHS player".
I feel old.
(Isn't a 2026 figure of Soundwave turning into a cassette player similar to if the character had been a gramophone player when I was a child back in the G1 days?)
(Yes, I realise that G1 Soundwave is actually a dictaphone with microcassettes in terms of the orignal design, but the fiction has always portrayed him as a casettte player.)
