I'm too far in on the Earthrise mold to start on a new one. Lots of small changes but the wrists look like the only major improvement.

So many transformers don't have waist movement for various reasons that I don't count it as an essential point of articulation. Probably just me though.

Just not understanding the need for a new seeker mold?? But okay, sure, new Thundercracker, I guess.

I kinda get it. The current seeker mold is just an upscale of the old CHUG one. This sounds like they wanted to do like Prime and Magnus and some of the others and try to make another mini-masterpiece. From a purely design standpoint, I can understand why they would want a more modern looking seeker mold.

I just think they maybe should've waited and created an all-new mold to begin with, if the plan was to turn around a couple of years later and do "brand new". And I get the whole "they're a company/tring to make money/ upscaling CHUG was easy money" stance. It's just that I'm honestly at 100% seeker fatigue. What they've released up until this point has been really good - and good enough - IMO.

If it doesn't have the cockpit hanging off the back of the robot mode, I might consider starting all over again. The rest is a mostly lateral, slightly upward move, but I like that it's markedly less greebly, and that integration would be a significant improvement.

I would like the first one I get to be Sunstorm. Assuming they ever make one.

(interestingly, the Studio Series WFC Thunder cracker seems to be the exact shade of light blue I like. Still not really into the mold; that and the Armada one are staying Deluxe for me.)
