This thing is interesting, man. I'm sure it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but if the demo (a prequel, not a chunk of the retail game) is anything to go by, I'd say it succeeds spectacularly at what it set out to do.
It's an RPG that's fifty percent narrator and fifty percent cards. The characters are cards, the monsters are cards, the items are cards, the map is cards. It's beautifully presented.
