Skyrim! Because all the really good stuff never actually leaves.

Nah. Final Fantasy XIV is my MMO of choice. I was just hoping to screw around for a bit and see if there was anything I could do. Noping out was a perfectly valid end of the night result.

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

Last time I played was shortly after the morrowind expansion dropped. Which was only a few weeks after I bought it... might need to try again.

I have to say Skyrim spoiled me for stealth. I don't remember the NPCs in that being quite so persistent as the ones in Oblivion once they spotted you. Had two bandits chase me through three load zones all the way to the refugee settlement in front of Kvatch. Granted they were then punched to death by the refugees, but....

Well, I think Skyrim could ruin a lot of people on stealth. You use the skill points right, you could be right in front of someone and they won't see you.

There is a reason why the stereotype is that everyone who plays skyrim inevitably makes a stealth archer.

It's been around for a while, I think since before AI was a thing.

After my complaint about the stealth, I actually did have an occasion where I managed to hide from a bandit after being spotted and the bandit in question gave a line indicating they were giving up, and the stealth indicator went back to hidden. Of course a few seconds later she ran around the corner to where I was hiding anyway. Ah, Oblivion.

I swore a few years ago that I was done with the game, but the Skyrim itch has been rearing its ugly mug again. I fear my "days since last Skyrim run" counter may be restarting soon

You could just go for Oblivion instead. It's not quite the same but it's still the same series, but still give you a technicality.
