Now I want to see GEM Blaster playing the keytar next to Boombox mode regular blaster while they and the GEM girls dance in TR Blaster's base mode dance club.
Oh, and I did look it up on tfwiki, which I should have done in the first place, apparently Thunderwing DID fight with the Classic Pretenders, so if they reuse mini-Jazz as a shell filler, it would make a great deal of sense for Age of Evolution as a call-back.
The ultimate would be if they're brave enough to give me a Pretender Shell for Jazz that looks like his G1 voice actor. THAT would be an amazing Marvel/G1 Cartoon/Original Toyline combo homage! Heck, it's a shell, just give it alternate heads/swappable faces on the helmet if they really want to hedge their bets against the 'it must look the same as G1' people.

Exactly! Then stick it in a space suit and put a small transforming Jazz inside it, I'd buy that!

I think what could have been neat, if along with the head they tried to make "Synergy" Blaster look like Synergy's Console like the chest door as a computer screen, the buttons as a keyboard.
I'm kind of nonplussed that they tooled a new head that basically looks the same but with an iffily-executed expression. Like, give him Bret Hart or star-shaped shades, or something to parallel Sir Soundwave's bandana, or something.

I'm more amused that they made a brand new accessory with two modes that the mold can't really use.
