I don't really know what to say. This man was in many ways the voice of my childhood.

RIP Peter. You were a hero. The best kind of hero.

Apparently this week has decided to claim one beloved entertainer per day. Very sad news, indeed.

[Magnusblitz]

Inevitable, but still, damn. RIP

Starting to feel like 2016 again...

This news has suddenly made next month's anniversary screening of TFTM in very poor taste.

Movies and TV - Peter Cullen has died at the age of 85.

Sad news for all Transformers fans. The iconic voice for not only Optimus Prime, but many other classic characters such as Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh and K.A.R.R. from Knight Rider, has passed away. In this week where we have already felt the loss of Dolloy Parton and Tim Curry, this news just...

The next 5-10 years are gonna be Hell for Gen X and Millennials tbh.

All the celebs we know are getting up there in age.

[Echowarrior]

Damn. Just...damn.

I never had the honor of meeting the man. I always wanted to. Now...*weeps*. Death is too greedy, y'know?

[UnicronusPrime]

Uhg, these last 2 months have been horrible for my childhood.
My condolences to his family.

[TheSupernova]

For others, it would be Superman, or Spider-Man, but my fictional hero was always Optimus Prime, and no one quite brought the character to life for me the way that Peter Cullen did.

I'm absolutely gutted. May he rest in peace, and may his family forever know the joy that he brought to so many.

I literally just got home from my grandmother’s funeral…
