Random Thoughts From Out of Nowhere

I'm a little ticked off tonight, my PC keyboard, suddenly and unexpectedly, DIED, well it was getting power and the mouse fed through it but other wise, it wasn't working, so I had to plug in my old keyboard which has sticky keys, it lasted about three years, but then I had a bunch of hassle with stuff behind trying to get the cable for my monitor to move as stuff had fallen on it and it was a hassle moving stuff to get the cable to move so I could reconnect it as I had to disconnect stuff to get the keyboard out and swap it over (to many old extremal HDs)

They don't build them like they used to. I used the same keyboard for over 20 years.

Yeah, the reason I replaced the keyboard to start with is because its keys were getting sticky after one of the kids, m nephew I think it was, spilled their drink across it, its never been quite the same since then, it works but it still has keys that can get stuck, so I've replaced it with another that has all of the functions I want beyond the standard keys, things like access to e-mail, sound control, ETC... anyway, I've ordered two copies of a new keyboard that should be here in a couple of days, all being well and the keyboard I'm using right now, can go back to enjoying its retirement, while the one that stopped working can go off to the graveyard of recycling box to be collected on Tuesday morning

I don't make fun of other countries foods... I eat them.

Like seriously, where would I be without Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Greek...and yes, the occasional fish and chips. And Earl Grey with honey and cream? Awesome afternoon drink.

And I haven't had it yet, but some day before I die, I absolutely must try nyama choma (Kenyan).

edit:

Okay, after posting this, it would seem I'm replying to an older post. This was in response to Viola's post about Americans making fun of British food...which..,okay...just my own experience, but I've never seen that happen. I mean, a good big chunk of American food actually comes from other countries!

I went to da best city in da world today!!!
I was going to make a joke about how that could be almost literally any corner in Boston, but since I actually know where that is, I'll instead ask if you happened to visit the statue of Edgar Allen Poe and his birb that's a couple of blocks down Boylston from that intersection (at "Edgar Allen Poe Square")?

Been packing up all my stuff for going 100% remote as they're effectively shutting down the local office here, and my area feels so empty now with all the art I had on the walls taken down.
