THE ONE THING THAT IS SADDER THAN WHEN A KITTEN DIES IS WHEN THEY DIE IN YOUR LAP WHILE YOU WERE NURSING THEM AND TRYING TO KEEP THEM WARM :(

Would it be unprofessional to wear scrubs that are bright orange and navy blue? Code of ethics doesn’t clarify but as long as I don’t start glowing while screaming or taking 10 episodes to get work done it should be okay.

I smell burning.

I don't think it's the smell of burned toast. It smells more like a scented log. It smells great, actually. But it's 1:40 at night and it feels like 86 outside. Who would be using their fireplace right now?

Well, frick, Best Buy. I shopped with you because you had resisted the easy cash of the 3rd party resellers. Not sure I’m going to renew my Member’s Plus subscription next year since I ain’t paying for “lesser Amazon”. I paid that premium to support YOUR company, not whichever slaps junk up on your site.

I never really cared for Yugioh. It always felt like they could just pull out new cards to do whatever they wanted to raise tension and then Yugi would just happen to draw the exact right card he needed to just narrowly pull off the win.

Also didn't really care how on a children's show, he was constantly wagering his soul and the souls of his friends on a card game.

Don't be silly, nothing ever bad happens on Yu-Gi-Oh. The loser just gets a time out in the Shadow Realm. I swear before almighty Slifer

I still laugh thinking about how, in the Battle City arc, the big plot twist is that they have to actually follow the game rules. I know it's because the manga was going before the card game got big and there were no rules to follow until then, but without that meta context, it's still hilarious.

IIRC there’s still a lot of made up rules there, even before getting into the Egyptian Gods. Like when magic cards could sometimes be used during your opponent’s turn but usually not and I very distinctly remember a bit where Yugi’s Magnet Warrior got boosted attack from Summoned Skull.

Yeah, they still put plot ahead of actually following the game. Still a lot closer than earlier arcs, though.

And let's not even look at the Seal of Orichalcos arc. That was pure plot device.

Because there are always pregnant people in the world, statistically, the average number of skeletons inside living humans is more than one.

I don't know. I'd have to see the actual numbers on that. You consider only women can get pregnant (whatever percentage of the population they are) and not every woman is pregnant all the time.

But yeah, there are people that do have at least two skeletons in them. If you then consider twins and triplets, dear heavens!

And I suppose there are the animals we swallow. But during the normal course of eating, we don't eat the bones. And accidental eating (I swallowed a bug), bugs are exoskeletal, so I'm not sure if those types of things would count.

And now in the fourth paragraph I'm considering that maybe I'm looking far more into this than I was meant to.
