Because Microsoft tests their software on people who don't already know what to do. Buttons are placed where clueless newbies keep trying to find them. Sometimes it comes at the expense of those of us who have been using Windows since the 3.x days, but Microsoft knows we'll put up with it.

I like Windows 11. Some of the changes were jarring, but I get why they were done. It's a smooth workflow.

I'm convinced that they refuse to put a right click function out of the box just to say they're not like Windows. It craps all over my muscle memory every time I have to use a Mac.

They hugging WHAT?

Right clicking isn't even a Windows thing. We've had it since frigging IBM TopView. What is Apple doing?

The shift from Mac to WIndows is easier than the other way around IMO.

Easier, maybe. Still gong to take a while. I'm going to have to move everything from my external drive over to my slow-as-molasses Mac so that I can format the drive to something both the Mac and Windows can read, move everything back to the external drive and then get it working with Windows.

Easy but time consuming.

Yeah, Macs are weird. It didn't affect me as much because I was using my mother's old Mac with a two-button mouse. But that just makes it even more baffling. Obviously the Mac is capable of using a normal two-button mouse. So why even continue making one-button mice...let alone making it the default pack-in?

In any case, I'm actually pretty happy to be back on a Windows computer...even if I still use my iPad for 95% of my internet/music needs.

And I also have Minesweeper again. I missed Minesweeper.

Stuff I wrote in college or before is actually on a cd rom now that I think about it. But there's also a crap ton of pictures and videos split between the external and the Mac hard drive.

When I get it all together I'll probably want to figure what I actually need to keep and what I can get rid of.

edit (ninja'd): Umm, I think we just established that several of us don't need to imagine. Soooooo...yeah.

The simulation is glitching again. The number of vehicles driving down my street today exceeds the total population of the universe.

Why is it so good when shows start playing the ending theme during the ending scene of an episode before it cuts to credits(and the credits/next ep preview kick in just as the ending theme fully kicks into gear)?
