Yeah, Transformers Masterforce is actually one of my favourite Transformers shows. Power Rangers Megaforce is hot garbage. But it's the summer so my brain gets turned off and these mistakes just happen

To celebrate the new Fortnite Crossover with Power Rangers, they made a live action trailer, featuring live action interpretations of Fortnite characters.
Both: "This is the best mirror I've ever seen! I look gorgeous!"
Oh, that was live action?
It's tough when it's not your first language.
I mean.. I am no fan of his. I'd be fine never seeing his face again.
Jason was my favourite as a kid so ASJ turning into a garbage person was certainly disappointing

It sorta looks like a fan show, but what little I can find about it online seems to suggest it's official? But I also feel like I would have heard more about this online if it were an official thing? But it seems to be?
I mean the human actors aren't any worse really than any other real power ranger things (because that's a low low bar) but the special effects feel very "fan film" and it just seems a bit weird.
-ZacWilliam, But I guess any official media would be welcome right now, and if Youtube is where the kids are maybe it ain't a weird approach.

It is "Official" in that Hasbro said it was Okay to do. Otherwise it's pretty much a fan episode.
Is there a way in which other shows are official that this isn't? I mean the owners of the IP saying "make it" feels like all there is to "officialness". Or is this a case of someone making something on their own and then the IP owner just saying "we won't sue you."?
On the one hand it looks like a fan production, yeah... but also I hate when folks hedge about something being official just because it looks bad. I mean if we start judging officialness or canon by anyone's feelings about quality it's just completely objective and meaningless.

I don't know lot about them, but my understanding is that "Ninja Kidz" is a family-run YouTube channel where I guess some kids do action-y stuff for views? Anyway, several years ago they did a series of Power Rangers fan films, and Hasbro (or maybe Playmates, it's a little unclear) decided to officially authorize them doing another one.
Well, we still have the comics.
...And Armorsaurs.
They even put up the first episode up on Youtube for free. And it's...good enough. It's scratching that Power Rangers itch inside my soul. It's a rip-off, sure. But, it's a ambitious rip-off, and I can appreciate that. If this was a official Power Rangers season, it'd be...kind of middling, but not the worst one I've ever seen, at least.
