Yeah. Playmates designed it but retailers said no so it's not happening.
My walmart still refuses to carry any zord beyond the Triceratops and the T-rex.. so doesn't surprise me.
According to the Playmates rep speaking with Pixel Dan, the same issue is happening with the White Tigerzord and other White Ranger merch. I think Playmates is trying to get a retail program together with a partner for White Ranger stuff.
Guess we’ll see what happens with that.
It makes me glad I resisted the temptation to go in on their Megazord. I love that design, but I'm not interested if there's no Dragonzord in the pipeline. I'll stick with my OGs and Bandai Legacy releases.
Seems insane that they wouldn't want the White Tigerzord and white Ranger stuff. So.. No Saba?
I mean, we know retailers have gotten stupid.. but REALLY?!
"The Dragonzord and Tigerzord? The mechs of the most popular Power Ranger of all time? PASS! Now where's the Skibidi Toilet stuff? That's where the money is!"
This is why I cant really hate the series. Everyone is trying their best, while having to please Bandai, Toei, Nickelodeon, and Tzachor. It's like hating on Quadriplegic for not being able to win a triathlon.

Well, maybe I'll try to get the Dragon Dagger, but at this point, why even bother? Might as well wait for this to bottom out and see about the next attempt.

In an unexpected move, ConnerTheWaffle has gone back and made a proper retrospective for Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers, as he previously glossed over it at the end of his MMPR video, and will also be going over some other things he skipped before continuing with the rest of the Neo-Saban Era:

Since this is kind of spoiling the Free Comic Book Day/Comics Giveaway Day special, coming out in May, I'll put it under spoiler tags.
We'll actually be getting 3 different series coming out around the same time!
The main comic seems to be "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers", releasing in June. And it sounds like the original Rangers will be reuniting again after 10 years apart. So, I guess this comic would take place in...2005 or so? I doubt they'll actually do that. But, it'd be interesting if they did. Sounds like it'll be a separate universe from the original Boom comics, but we'll see.
We're getting Power Rangers Unlimited, starting in July. Which sounds like it'll basically be a big crossover between Rangers from all over the timeline. That could be fun, but hopefully they got someone who knows what some of these characters sound like. That's sometimes a problem with Boom. They have MMPR down, but the other seasons they don't seem to be as familiar with, sometimes.
Then we're getting Power Rangers Green, in August. Which sees Tommy travelling to a dark future where he's the Last Ranger, which they directly compare with the Last Ronin TMNT comics. I can't help but think of that Soul of the Dragon OGN they did, before. And I'll admit, I'm a little weary of "dark future" comics. It's a solid trope, but a bit overdone for my liking. But, it'll probably be good. And we're bound to get a cool new design out of it. Boom's always good about giving us new suits for Tommy.
Also, we're getting Compact Editions of the original Boom Ranger comics. So, that's another way to read these comics, which is nice.
