I love that toy, but mine can't stand up very well any more. The extensions for Midnight Express's legs just don't stay extended anymore, so he falls over.

Which is why they need to give us a new Rail Racer! Make is that $100 price point (Leader?) as a boxset of all three trains, and I will pre-order that thing!
Make him Titan class for all three bots as a set, after all Railracer was a big bot, we also need a update on the Build team as that is the most unique combiner in TF history as three bots can be arms or legs around a single bot
For the amount of unique engineering he'd take, he'd probably have to be a Haslab.

First off, would be display bases that form railway tracks, other than that, there's not a whole lot of extras as the weapons he used were all the individual robots weapons combined, unless they were going to do a small figure of Kelly (the woman who was always having things go wrong in the anime) or Koji (the human boy who hung out with the Autobots) of course that's always doing a toy of Grampa, the steam locomotive from that ep where the Predacons got beaten by a normal steam train
Honestly, I don't think Railracer is really that complex, unlike the constructicons or the modern Scramble city combiners as they are pretty much a stack-them and rack-them combining form, they managed to make Magmatron in a commander class budget and he is three separate Dinos, so doing the bullet train team is not that hard, you don't need to over think things, just take the original designs and make some alterations to bring them up to modern standards and give them paint that doesn't yellow over time
Making it a Haslab item would lessen their potential losses if the trains aren't as popular on the retail shelf ...again. however with the start of the made to order figures... they certainly could offer a railracer boxset and see how big demand is directly using that new delivery method instead of taking up a haslab spot
I do wish that they would make a REAL Thomas crossover set. I am aware that there is a KO combiner of some sort, but I've also heard the quality isn't where I could safely give it to my nephew.
