You can mount on the sides as well.
I am kinda frustrated by the utter lack of 5mm anythings on the main Onslaught robot, but the gun does magically do this rather securely (albeit kinda jank-looking):

I only stickered up the original TR version. I left the AotP version along as I really like the look of him as is.

I'm also thinking you were one of the guys on Discord who chatted with me and showed me some awesome collection pictures years ago when I was sitting at the doctor's office waiting to get a shot (and probably dreading getting the shot, too), and I still appreciate that conversation.
Yes, I do kind of army-build Trypticons. I do try to keep them unique versions though. The only one I have multiple of the same version is G1 Trypticon as I was attempting to take 2 incomplete and make a complete. I have both TR Trypticon and AotP now as far as Titans go.
I did at one point have multiple TR Trypticons when they were $50 at Ollie's. However, I never opened more then just the one and ended up selling off the others.
Now I have these currently

And that's awesome how well that gun works, I can put it on the side, and maybe the triple-barreled one on top, and have a set to either have Onslaught use or be loaners for Viper, who I plan to put with Bruticus since I got him years ago with that intent, then would up never getting a CW Bruticus to do it with. I still have the Swindle from that set, it was the only part I got....

I’ve settled on the headcanon name Doubletap.
Why Doubletap?
“El Segundo” literally just means, “The second.” But there was literally no Latin word root that meant “second” that sounded good in a TF name. But “double” also means two of something.
“Coupe” is just a type of car, but means “cut” in French, but my man has no swords. But he has a gun, and a double-barreled one to boot.
So, double!
Doubleshot or Doubleblast also sound ok. But Doubletap? One shot in the heart, and one in the head aka gory gamer killshot thing; it’s got that badass factor.
Hentyway, here’s my new TF Doubletap.

I am repurposing this guy as-is as my official Skybound Energon Universe Megatron. Because what do mean this guy spends 99.998% of his on-panel time tow-up from the flow-up.

I've seen some Skybound Megs head floating around for SS Megs, so you can get him further looking if you want.
Meh I’ll wait for one that’s not 3D-printed. I’ve had a history of ass luck when it comes to custom kits of that type.
