It was meant for here. Because I didn’t think about the random image. But I think the same people are gonna see it no matter what thread it’s in and hopefully get a laugh.

So this arrived today.

The outer box is just a sleeve over the regular Japanese packaging. Aside from a bar code and some legalese on the back, there's basically nothing else actually on the sleeve. I wonder if it's only there because of the name change.

Grabbed Steelbane for pics because he was handy. Prime looks pretty good, for the most part. The limbs are a bit spindly, being based on a much spindlier mold, and the combined axe weapon only looks good from one side, but otherwise, he's pretty solid. Although, from behind.....

....he looks like an Aerialbot. He's also very back-heavy, but the tail reaches to the ground and acts as a third leg.

It's a little tricky to get the Matrix in both hands because he has no wrist swivels, but it's doable. The Matrix actually stores in a hinge panel in the backpack, and it's basically behind his butt in robot mode, but it's secure there.

Dragon mode is, of course, a pretty good Rathalos. Even looks pretty clean from below, other than the sword under the tail and the robot thighs. He has a peg hole for a stand in the pelvis for both modes.

Wingspan is good for a Deluxe-based mold. The wings can flap on multiple joints or furl in at the "thumb" joint (see the back of the robot mode above), but it's enough to get a decent resting pose.

None at all. Some of the spikes are even a little pointy. Not to the almost dangerous extent of some other toys, but enough to get your attention when you grab it by the wrong part.

That's cool, and swings it back to a toy that may interest me. I was worried it'd be another TR Mindwipe situation.
