Now turn them sideways and do an Abbey Road cover...bonus points if you can fit a Bumblebee in the background.

Honestly, I don't at all like how bots like G2 Op and Armada Megs look with the moving shoulder pylons. They make me not want to use what articulation they have because they look so much better with their arms straight down. The new molds might have some limitations on their artculation, but they still have plenty enough for my needs, and I much prefer the way they look while using it.

In an ideal world, I suppose I'd prefer both - arms that can move independently of the shoulders, and also shoulders that can rotate to allow additional articulation. But barring that, I prefer the Legacy implementation over the originals.

If I'm being honest, the static shoulder pylons ruin it for me.

Legacy Armada Megatron got multiple upgrade kits to fix that problem for that mold, but no such kits were made for this mold's shoulders.
I guess it could depend on what you mean by "getting a kit", as I don't think there's any fancy "branded" DNA DK-whatever for it. But just Googling "legacy laser Optimus shoulder upgrade" turns up a few Cults3D pages for them (as well as other shoulder upgrades like lights for the "missile launchers"), as well as stuff like this on eBay from upgrade kit stores.

If there is a pose that looks better with the new shoulders I've yet to see it.

And I would love to see it. I don't have the originals, and the Legacy versions are significantly cheaper. I'd love to find out that I'd be happy with the Legacy shoulders.

I don’t mind immobile shoulder kibble per se. i just hate how the execution looks with the dumb flaps sticking out when you want to raise the arm forward.

I'm just happy to have a Scourge at all.

I so, so hope I'm able to get mine.

Apparently Hasbro only sent EB Games a partial shipment like a month ago, and they're expecting more next week. Problem is, bills came due since having the money and hoping to get it, so hopefully someone pays up something good in the days before they get them in and call.

Other than Heatwave, this is the only Transformers purchase I've allowed myself this year. I really don't want to miss it.

(Yeah, I know Hasbro Pulse has it. And shipping costs, too. And I'm not even sure what happens when it hits the border at this point. I just want to pay retail and go home and give Blaster and Steeljaw some friends.)

Optimus "Me, see nothing!!"
Lio Seriously, are you blind or something, we are standing in the mists of your latest fight with Megatron and its a MESS!!!"
Optimus "Can't hear you, did you say something, Kittytron?"
Lio "Oh, we are playing that game now are we? Box for brains!!"
Optimus "I have a very nice brain, thank you very much!!"
Lio "This guy is unbelievable!!"

I had the Legacy Laser Prime and the OG Laser Prime side by side and while the old one still holds up in a lot of ways... it does show its age. The static shoulders on the new one aren't my favourite thing, but overall I much prefer the proportions and posing potential on the Legacy mould.
The OG mold only holds up above the waist tbh.

I don't got the OG OG Laser Prime but I do got RID01 Scourge and like...upper body? Articulation is pretty much still fine and dandy.

Lower body? Yeah nah I can see how it would have been great back in 1995 when the mold first came out but only having articulation at the hips and knees and no thigh swivel just makes it hard to do something interesting with the legs imo.

After lighting up Unicron's belly, the Matrix turns Galavtron into a pile of molten scrap along with Wheelie and proceds to melt Unicron completely, thus saving Cybertron for a few hundred years as the Matrix becomes a highly dangerous moon orbiting Cybertron and nothing made of living metal can come close to it without melting into scrap metal, its then predicted that one day it will desend upon Cybertron and that will be the end of days for Cybertron and all who are made of living metal on the fateful day, the day that all become ONE!!!

And here, I just assumed rather than exploding, Unicron suddenly just held his stomach, then ran off, and someone heard a bathroom door slam. No one knows where this door is, or how he possibly fit through it, but he's been in there a while and someone might want to check on him...
