I guess I’ll call this the “fck you, scalpers
” pic, cus I was able to get all these guys at retail. It wasn’t easy though.Cannon Fodder 2-pack I had to search over 8 targets, gave up, started trying to look for Silverbolt instead, leading me to another Target that ended up being a false lead for SB… and then found these guys instead.
And the Perceptor Gets Mobbed By An Escaped Zoo 3-pack I tried ordering online from stores that listed it as available…. Only for them to run out of pickup stock, but then I was notified that only delivery stock was available, and so I ordered from that and they showed up on my doorstep 2 days later.
Sometimes I miss toy hunting, and sometimes I just don’t really.
Is it the lighting or is the teal on Perceptor darker?
Aside: that hunt sounds insane. Glad you finally got what you were after.
(Snip old man grumbling about the hunt) I've definitely found a comfort zone away from the old style of hunting in the last few years. Same dopamine, more convenient supplier.

Its darker. I got my set yesterday also delivered. Still need the Devastation pack.
What I’d give for a toy version with clear lenses and chest, chrome/silver and that really distinct turquoise. I can take or leave the faceplate head though.

Yeah whole torso (except tray/chestplate) are brand new molds (it’s much bigger; Percy hitting that gym like a mf’er 
); chestplate and lenseseses no longer clear plastic, biceps are longer and new molds, different hues for all the colors, and of course the back flap thing exists. Unfortunately bc of how wide the torso now is, the tank mode is no longer possible, even though the little tabby things are still molded onto there. Teasing me.

Having the TR version, which is much more accurate to the original toy, I'm fine with this one not having the tank mode; just because it was very half-assed on the previous SS86 one and I don't think he ever used it in the cartoon.
