Logos Prime is right there, but I always wished he'd had a different color scheme rather than being a repurposed Soundblaster. Imagine something like Production Noisemaze?

Was actually talking about this with a friend the other day!
It is weird that a character like Logos Prime is just Soundblaster, but it's probably the only reason he got to exist.

IIRC Soundblaster from Cybertron Soundwave was a fairly straightforward redeco idea Takara wanted to get out there, but they were also doing some Beast Wars reissues. They wanted some exclusive fiction to set up Primal and Megatron meeting again in their OG Beasties bodies so they made their new Soundblaster release happening around the same time a Vector Prime-esque ancient timey wimey dude.
Basically a sorta precursor to the Legends manga where there's fiction just grabbing whatever happens to be coming out and weaving a story- any story- out of them.

I could see Logos getting a much needed revamp colour-wise if he'd ended up on the official Thirteen roster. And honestly he probably should have, if only to spare us the "Optimus is the Timeless Child Thirteenth" nonsense.

As-is though he's stuck in a weird in-between in more ways then one. A Prime character with very Thriteen-esque powers but... not. And stuck with Soundblaster's colours for... reasons.

I love how MASSIVE Cybertron Soundwave looks here. Between the lanky frame and the huge wings and the being made in a time when production budgets went further, he looks amazing. That paired with the distinct aesthetic gives him ancient Thirteen-ish vibes almost next to the more straight-G1 figures there. I've been kicking around the idea of picking up 2 Earthspark Soundwaves to be his minions.
