"Buy an 'M' and the first vowel's free!"
Yo, got a question for you all.
First, a picture of my current prime shelf. Second: see the circled part on vector prime? He's got that on each leg... but what's it for? It's not involved in the transformation process and I don't think anything clicks into them.
Sideswipe is glum because Hasbro gave him Red Alert's helmet instead of his own.
Marvelous.Well - he's currently in pieces on my desk anyway, because that head'll go in a bag and he'll get a spare blue Deep Cover head and hands. And probably (eventually) some yellow paint on his legs.
Was this guy also on the pre-hacked version of the site? Cuz I remember someone on here who did something kind of like that in regards to using their own made-up terminology for things that no one else used, like referring to "Dark of the Moon" as ".M" because they thought they were being so clever by rendering the "DOT" part of "DOTM" as just "."This guy’s name always reminds me of this one member on the ezboard proto-version of this site. Kind of a tool. Went around insulting people using words he made up that were just portmanteaus of words he churned out from a random word generator. How he thought he ate that. Think he also thought that this character was named after him and was hella insufferable when the concept of this character was announced way back when.
Nope, will not explain further. IYKYK.![]()
Heh, you know, it would have been fascinating if the movies had instead called him "Ulchtar" since, while all the whiners like that guy would have had one less thing to whine about, it would have also been both an incredibly deep-cut reference (for the time) to Starscream's original name and would have given that name its own unique visual identity separate from the "Starscream" name, especially since the name "Ulchtar" sounds more monstrous than "Starscream" and Movie Starscream's design is arguably the most monstrous Starscream design of them all.I remember a guy from TFormers who was so upset by the Bayverse design for Starscream he made up a whole other character name for him because he refused to refer to him as "Starscream"
And would just drop this fanfic name into conversation about the movies and expect people to get his bull***t.

I don’t believe so? He was before even the grand exodus off of ezboards (for which that entire platform is now completely gonzo). He was one of the ones who opted to stay behind because he didn’t wanna “go with a crowd of crandlesWas this guy also on the pre-hacked version of the site?
I had the exact same problem. Most current instructions include a one-time unboxing steps section, but it's inconsistent how complete they are. This one didn't show anything about reconfiguring the shield. It was a little while before I realized it had multiple configurations beyond just collapsed and expanded.Yall, how I almost crashed out as soon as I tried to attach the shield to his butt right out of the package LIKE THE INSTRUCTIONS SUGGESTED and I couldn’t get it to peg in… until I re-re-read the instructions and realized that it needed to be transformed a bit before it could do that.![]()
