I bought this acrylic riser recently and you know, it works wonders to keep my desk less cluttered. I may just buy one or two more.
Nothing interesting, just a small change to 'new' Shockwave, mainly two Decepticon symbol stickers, a radar dish to sort of sub for the missing 'sight', and turning the upper arms to get rid of some side gaps. I know someone will probably make a rear sight that goes in the 5mm peg hole, but the one the gun sets in has two ridges to the sides that kept the dish from going there. The hose just sets between the two arms, but honestly stresses it less and holds just fine.
I actually didn't have any issues with the old 'ship' mode but removing the eye from the handle/bridge doesn't work right for me.

I would do whatever works best for YOU, after all, a great many of us who have been in this a while at some point kitbashed something that probably cost more than was sensible to make what WE wanted, and I for one don't regret doing it. I think it's amazing how close you've managed to get him!
