Found some old friends today at a second hand store*. Vamp and Topspin I had as a kid, so great to have them again. It's funny, although I'm pretty sure that I got my original Topspin new, I don't remember ever having his gun. Maybe I just lost it that quickly. The Voltron Skull Tank is new to me, but was too cheap and amazing to pass up.

I've had good success with those 'ACT humanoid' ones for flyers, too, their post holes fit the semi-standard ones on Transformers and a wide range of Moderoid kits. Though I do admit I find the life advice written on the box to be patronizing. I'll act any way I feel like, thank you very much...

I read that Onyx Prime has got some built-in extra tabs, etc that allow for different configurations for his various modes (such as his beast mode). I tried the version mentioned at TFWiki (with the front hooves and legs pegged under the wings and the robot shoulder pads) but chose to have them in the configuration shown below. This also allows his wings to bend downwards when on the ground (which also hides any gaps or kibble under the wings.

I also had the bot mode heels facing forward to give a more uniform look to his griffin mode (which then makes the use of the hooves in centaur uniform). This also makes his two alt-modes more distinguished from each other too, IMO. His spear has been broken down to the two separate parts and stored underneath him.

"The 80s called, they--"
"Yeah, well, the 90s called too."

One of the customs in the big batch I sold off was a Goldbug custom, which I had to mark down because it was missing the head (which I'd poorly cast, per usual, from SG Goldbug). Couldn't find it (part of the cast being poor was a loose socket). Was disappointed because I'd hoped to keep the head to paint up for Retro Bee.

Then I found it in one of my accessory boxes, where I'd apparently specifically put it so it wouldn't get lost.

I may need a diagnosis.
