It’s a relatively new company Craftsman toys. They made a Legends scale Computron and filled in for the designer that quit the Terrorcon set I posted previously to finish Hungrr.

I know that Megatron's supposed to be Skybound but it ends up looking like the anime dude hand on shoulder meme.

In today's episode of "We owe AOE an apology":

The movie still sucks but we were wrong about these designs. They seemed like utter nonsense but apparently they're not.

Kinda like the bigger shoulders and the chainsaw sword. New spearhead and flame effects are decent. Not sure if I want the platform shoes and hilariously out of place gap fillers. New vehicle mode's not terrible. Since they're selling the sword separately, I might just buy that.

The shoulders needed to be a little bigger but these are too big. The trivially bigger feet don't balance that out.

Why didn't they just make the arm fillers black? They matched his colors on the feet and shoulders, then make the fillers blurple.

But yeah, the flaming chainsword is definitely the star of the show here. And it's sold on its own.

I think the bigger shoulders are okay without the flame pieces on them. Might just be years of Warhammer and Gears of War conditioning speaking though.

Considering this set already has height boosters and filler parts, I'm surprised they didn't add articulated hands to complete the DNA trifecta.

That said, I'm pretty sure they're only the size they are to fit inside the arms for transformation.

Around 11 inches tall in Freedom Units for individual robot mode and about 14 inches long in robot mode. I think I'm out. I just don't have the space for gigantic combiners and the dino mode really rubs me the wrong way. Like they're trying too hard to make him all angular and sharp but have the T-Rex mode tubbier than even the G1 design. Plus, the back slope really reminds me of Yoshi, which really is something a Dinobot leader should avoid. The backmounted hairdryers are kind of ugly and out of place but I guess they're integrated as the chest piece which makes them less of a concern. Wonder if they're going kibblepants or6th member.
