I bought this sixshot on sale for about$15 shipped. It’s around 86 commander Optimus height and on the skinny side but I dunno, it fits more with the ninja angle than being some gigantic monolith of a robot.

got the Headmaster colors. I like the dark teal more than the seafoam green

I'm still waiting for some brave fool to make a proper Quickswitch. His design is so bad but so strangely endearing.

Until we get a AOTP Sixshot or something this’ll do. The other options are the mediocre TR mold, the hideous MMC Sixshot, a poorly engineered stylized MP one from the company that made that one IDW Optimus, DX9’s MP version that came with gunk all over it and Fanstoys that somehow has crappier than usual altmodes.

DX9’s design was pretty good but being Mp scaled big character made him enormous and QC was horrific. The second batch mildly improved QC but came with weird smelly gunk all over the figures

Fansproject’s not bad enough? I mean it’s pretty terrible but a different type of bad, so I can see how it can put off more discerning tastes

I'm hyped for this new age of primes bumper boxset.

Eh. Terribull is the biggest draw, he’s got a cool design and nice colors but I don’t really care for the slew of late g1 do-nothing Headmaster dudes. Ultra Magnus is a predictable but well-executed repaint of an okay but not spectacular mold. I’d probably buy one if he were a single release. Nemesis Prime looks good but is a nonentity (Allspark Almanacs are stupid and don’t mean jive) and would probably be more impactful if we didn’t get black and teal Optimuses every year. Bumper is a literal nobody who’s 90% Bumblebee. I feel this set’s pretty weak.

It’s two literally nobodies, a nobody outside of Dreamwave and Horribull. The pitch must have been insane.

I want two of the four, which is double my usual number with these sets. And then there's Horri-Bull. I have already forgotten who's the fourth bot in the set.

The last set was an obscure repaint, a guy who died immediately, a troop builder, and Cancer Squeezeplay.

Who keeps asking for Decepticon Headmasters surrounded by nobodies?

I only want the nobodies, so I've been able to get what I want from these sets pretty cheaply. The only complete set I bought is the troop builder set, and I only really wanted the Autotrooper. I just bought the whole set because I had a huge gift card.

My sixshot shipped. Store looks legit so I’m not too worried but when stuff is that ridiculously cheap you tend to be on edge. Maybe the price was so low because it’s cursed or something. Like Annabelle but something kids would actually touch.

i also remembered the only two things that made Phase Sixer Sixshot significant: the terrorcons simp for him and metroplex stepped on him.
