Watched it last night w/ my daughter. She's 20, she watched it a while ago, but we had a daddy-daughter movie night complete with (massive) bowls of ice cream and Oreos.

I watched this when it premiered and showed it to a bunch of friends shortly thereafter. I've been semi obsessed with it for a while. Hot Toys teased 1/6 figures. I'm seriously considering them.

I’m ashamed to admit I haven’t gotten around to watching this yet, but it did make a solid appearance at the Golden Globes, possibly setting up Oscar nods, at least.
The film won Best Animated Feature Film, with “Golden” taking home the award for best original song. The film was further nominated in the category of Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. Probably an acknowledgement of it being such a massive breakout hit for Netflix, to the point it warranted a pair of limited box office releases, doing respectable business for a film that had already been available on streaming.

It's been build up too much already so watch it before it gets built up even more in your head, hehe.
The news I've been getting with clickbait-y titles is just announcing that it beat Infinity Castle. But while Infinity Castle is in the 2025 top ten highest grossing, it really doesn't deserve it. Chainsaw Man Reze Arc movie was better, artistically. But KPop Demon Hunters is, of course, more marketable that those ultra violent anime, hehe

Dang it "This is What It Sounds Like" is the better song! Or Soda Pop. OK, not Soda Pop, haha
Its worth the watch! Give it shot and then loop the music afterwards on a playlist. Seriously there are like 7 major hit songs on this film, and Golden is probably the worst one of the lot. Free is a great song that you don't even have to know anything about the film to love.
I think Free is the best song. Like it can stand alone as a great song without you knowing it was part of a soundtrack. Idol is probably the best villain song since Poor Unfortunate Souls.
The Wobbles has a K-Pop Demon Hunters kit coming out in March.
They're DIY crochet kits. Pricey at $90 but apparently Derpy is also big. I know basic crochet so I could probably figure out how to make something similar, but I'm unsure if I would bother. Very tempted.
