So this is on Netlfix, and my family loves Kpop music. Black Pink and BTS get played a lot on our home speakers. So maybe this is just for people that like the genre. However, we watched this on Saturday and loved it. The music was great and the animation was silly and fun, and the story was ok. Definitely worth a watch imo.

I thought there was a 6-8 episode series worth of solid story crammed into the movie, it really could've used more room to breathe. I guess they wanted the possibility of a theatrical release (which they got).

Local con had several 3D printed and hand-crafted tiger demons and bird demons available to buy, the official merch is behind the curve.

I loved it and watched it on repeat in the background for a while.

Fave song - This is What it Sounds like
Fave (side) character - Derpy the tiger

Love him so much that I drew and colored him on a tote bag at an art con.

It was fun. I liked how they went full out squash-and-stretch with CG graphics. The scene where they first meet the boys caught me off guard, I had to pause it I was laughing so hard. It definitely feels like it should have been a mini series. Main complaint was
right after they find out that maybe demons aren't all bad, and one of them even sacrifices himself, they go ahead and slaughter the rest of them, lol. I get that they didn't have time to deal with it/it might've gotten too sad, but still.

Derpy the cat is the best, the girls were fun and to the shock of no one who knows me, Abby was the best boy.

Gasp! You didn't instantly love it?!?! Double gasp!

Kidding! Folks like what folks like and all that. Is ok.

Hey, a friend and I have a review of it. Don't suppose I could get some likes? Hehe

I already bought a shirt and have the soundtrack pre-ordered...

This seems to be one of the few times something got really big, and I'm on board.

I love the music, love the animation, and love the story. It didn't need to be overly dramatic. It did what it needed to do. The idea was for a 'fun' movie. I feel it did that in spades.

HOWEVER. I don't know what it is. But give me something where music is linked to magic, and I eat it up so I'm HEAVILY baised. ^^;

I expect the lack of that kind of merch is due to them not really expecting it to be THIS big of a hit. They've apparently gotten "concert swag" stuff as seen on-screen out in stores (t-shirts, posters, LED lights, etc), but no dolls or plush or action figures. Even the "everything gets made in this form" Funko Pops are lagging.

What's annoying is that there are so many videos and such of people going: "OMG! I went to Walmart and got these KPop Demon Hunter Things!" Especially the Ramen cups.

The truth, however, is they are just assembling the stuff at home and filming them "finding" it at Walmart, making people think things exist that don't.

Yeah. My step fathers grandkids are gaga over the film. Can't find much merchandise yet.

Me and the wife loved the movie. Few plot points could have used some extra scenes I felt. But overall it was a great film. Beautiful animation. Great characters. Lot of fun.

Wife's had the full soundtrack on loop since she watched it.
