I've never seen anyone complain about the robot head he comes with, since that itself is a new head and the only remolding Hastak did. Every complaint I've seen is, what this set addresses: He doesn't look a thing like Godzilla. All the issues were with the dino mode.

Exactly. This set has me considering a base figure I was happy to pass on. That's the mark of a good add-on set.

And the robot mode head it comes with wasn't used for any other Dinobot so it's unique that regard as well.

Stop making me want things!

Truth be told, my better judgement will probably prevail here. I do like the new, more Godzilla-esque Godzilla, and the thought of a Jet Jaguar Wheelie riding him is very tempting, but the price for the base mold, the upgrade kit, and the Jet Jaguar adds up to more than I'm willing to spend. I've always liked Godzilla well enough, but I'm not a super fan or anything.
