Yeah, I was thinking it might be Grimlock; but I remember the rumor becuase I was really interested in seeing how they'd make the armor work.

My excitement for a possible Missing Link Grimlock FAR exceeds any interest I have in a Missing Link Ultra Magnus.

I’m interested in Magnus in a “how the hell will they make this articulated AND look like the old toy” way.

Grimlock is nice in that it’s the closest thing we’ll get to a reissue but it’s relatively simple to see how you can install joints into the design.

This is exactly why I'm more interested in Magnus. Grimlock is gonna be extremely straight forward. And I'm gonna want and likely get him becuase Dinobot. But Magnus, is having to make that trailer work as articulated armor when its like a quarter inch thick in places is gonna be a god damn miracle of an achievement to see, imo.

I think they'll probably have to compromise the back. G1 Ultra Magnus isn't as much a figure as it is one of those standees with the face cutouts for photos.

This work is a comic book adaptation of "Transformers Galaxy Force" (2005), which was serialized in Kodansha's "Comic Bonbon". It was written by Yoshihiro Iwamoto, who is known for the "Mega Man X" series, and has been very popular and attracts attention since then, but unfortunately the final three chapters were not included in the book at the time of its release. So this time, to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the work, we will publish a complete edition of the book that covers the entire Iwamoto version of "Galaxy Force"!

Synopsis

In order to protect the universe from the threat of the suddenly appearing "Grand Black Hole," the good Transformers, the Cybertrons, led by Galaxy Convoy, attempt to retrieve "Planet Force," which contains the power of their creator, the good god Primus. However, the evil Transformers, the Decepticons, led by Master Megatron, are also after "Planet Force"... A super-scale energy battle begins in space and on Earth!

Features of this book

1. A new scan has been made from the original manuscript (only the layout of Chapter 2 was created based on an existing copy) and it has been published as a large A5-sized book!

2. With the cooperation of Iwamoto-sensei, the binding has been completely renewed. The text has also been revised and expanded, resulting in a complete edition.

3. The final three episodes, which were not included in the previous volume, are also included. This is the first complete volume to cover the entire Iwamoto version of "Galaxy Force."
