SO what's actually happened? The US and israel spent hundreds of millions, if not billions... to make an oppressed population rally around a hated regime and make some glass in the desert.

Trump's Bombing Probably Set Iran's Nuclear Program Back By Mere Months, Report Says
The White House issued a snarky comment saying the early assessment was leaked by an "anonymous, low-level loser."www.huffpost.com
What do you think that would do besides make his base love him more because in their eyes he made it acceptable to say in public again?Yeah it gives me hope that someone will finally bait him into saying the N word.

Iran plunged into internet blackout as protests over economy spread nationwide
Security forces reported to have killed at least 45 people since protests began 12 days ago, as protesters gather in Tehranwww.theguardian.com
More likely size and scale: in iran, you can drive to the country next door and get stuff if you needed to. Can't really do that in the US unless you're near either the canadian or mexican border. Doesn't really do you any good to pop over to the state next door if they're in the same or worse condition.I read it as a sarcastic "I can't wait until our government shuts down our entire internet too."
Granted, if they did do that, there would be a full-blown revolution, because it would leave probably the majority of the country unable to do their jobs or buy essential goods. I wonder if countries like Iran are better able to cope with that sort of thing because they're less dependent on modern technology.
