Given how many different aliens are running around, I really wasn't sure how seriously to take her "pregnancy" claims. I...guess she probably isn't, though? She doesn't seem to "feel" different, after her "treatment". Unless it's a twist later that she was.
And personally, I kind of wonder if the eyeball is somehow going to end up "possessing" the xenomorph, eventually. The Aliens franchise does love it's xenomorph variants. A xenomorph with a single, cyclopean eye could be a memorable variation.
