So today was the console release. Marred by cancelled preorders, stores refusing to sell, and very few on hand.
As far as rollouts go, this was done badly. I'm going to need Nintendo to step it up.
Restocks are apparently in the works, but this should not have been this badly done.

Yeah, the whole situation was messed up from the beginning. With pre-orders for everything being sold out for months, and zero word from Nintendo on getting more, I knew this would be a fiasco. I shouldn't have to go to midnight release party just to have chance to buy a controller.

It's the Master Sword though. You should get three medallions or something like that and hide them around the house, maybe have them have to solve a riddle or something to get them. Then when they have all three you present the swords stuck in like a cardboard box or something and let them pull it.
(I realize how much work that would be, so maybe don't. XD)

On Slickdeals people are saying that Target is keeping stock in the back for the 5th. No word on the Zelda Procontroller though, so I guess I am still going to Best Buy.
