I mean, I was gonna brag about finding the Holy Grail, but now I just feel silly.
I mean, you could always still use it to turn yourself into Super Sailor Moon.I mean, I was gonna brag about finding the Holy Grail, but now I just feel silly.
Reminds me of a quote from one of the Warhammer 40k books:"Your leg's off!"
"No it isn't!"
"It's right there, walking away!"
"I'm just saying, in Megatron's day, a Combiner was big enough that they could scoop up the Autobot commander in the palm of their hand, and -- if they so desired -- climb a skyscraper with him, easily. Look at us now!"My Victory shelf.

In Megatron's day, the Decepticon leader wasn't Combiner-sized by default.
Soundwave and Skywarp too.Back in the day, he was someone's weapon on occasion, mainly Starscream with at least once Optimus using him, at least in the cartoon, from what I recall off the top of my head
When I first got my Rhino DVDs all those years ago, the "Transformers in Japan" section was just the Victory Opening theme. Having zero context on anything Victory I just assumed it was like how Hasbro turned everything into name reuses and that it was Japan had made a show where Optimus Prime (Star Saber) fought Megatron (Deathsaurus). Heck, Spike (Jan) and even the Dinobots (Dinoforce) were there too!In Megatron's day, the Decepticon leader wasn't Combiner-sized by default.
You know, I once joked about how, if they wanted to, Hasbro could have easily taken Victory and given it the same English dub treatment that was given to Car Robots and make it into a new continuity like RID 2001 was. Rename Star Saber as "Optimus Prime", Deathsaurus as "Megatron", God Ginrai as some other Prime name like "Zeta Prime" or "Sentinel Prime", Victory Leo as maybe something like "Omega Leo" so that Victory Saber could be something like "Omega Prime", and then give all the rest of the characters a mixture of pre-existing familiar names and brand new names. When I first got my Rhino DVDs all those years ago, the "Transformers in Japan" section was just the Victory Opening theme.
