Yeah, I saw that and thought they'd moved recently. Unless I'm mashing Hasbro up with up some other companies in my head.

IIRC they announced they were moving around the time they were doing all those layoffs at the end of 2024, but not WHERE they were going.

Hasbro’s been talking up about moving headquarters even back in Goldner’s day. It got to the point they even took out some offices several years back in Boston, but shuttered them after Cox took over in a cost cutting move. Guess they made the call to make the move after all.
Is Boston cheaper than Rhode Island or what?
Not necessarily, kind of depends on what kind of incentives the city gave for the move. A big incentive, from what I gather, is that Boston’s status as a high profile center of business and culture makes it a more appealing location for talent and other recruitment efforts. As nice as Providence might be, or Hasbro’s legacy there, Boston carries more cachet with more immediately available resources For a modern multinational company.

Maybe Boston is where they will finally have the indefinitely-postponed-but-never-formally-canceled HasCon 2019 take place. :p

Boston must be offering something juicy. LEGO moved their North American headquarters there earlier this year.

Yeah the more I look the more this makes sense. This is sad for Pawtucket, and maybe it's less prestigious for Hasbro to rent space in a high rise instead of owning their own gigantic headquarters, but the new building looks nice. And maybe more importantly, the whole area looks more alive. I can see why the executives would like it.

I feel for them. They wanted to keep Hasbro so bad, but they just didn't have anything to offer. Hasbro would be staying just for nostalgia and the pride of having their own building. That just wasn't enough. The new headquarters is right across the road from a huge convention center. They're probably thinking about using that for something. Right now they're across the street from funeral homes. Pawtucket is sad.

It's a sign of changing times but this is definitely not a Hasbro doom story. It just sucks for Pawtucket. And for Hasbro employees who can't afford to relocate and will have to drive an extra hour to get to work.

TFW2005 Member nune, who has posted reliable information in the past, is reporting retailer systems are indicating a price increase for 2026:
  • Deluxes: $27.99
  • Voyagers: $42.99
  • Leaders: $59.99

This follows on TNI's prior report of increases across Hasbro's other collector ranges.

Deluxes aren't much of an increase, and Leaders are basically the same (I think the retail has been bouncing between 55-60 for the past couple years)...but Voyagers' seven dollar increase is quite a bite.

Leaders were already $59.99 as the order history for Studio Series 86 Megatron (which just shipped out today) reminded me.

The voyager jump is a bit of a bite, but I think I can live with the increase on the others. I'm winding down adding to my collection anyway, so this just helps me to be more selective.

So THIS might be why the recent wave preorders seemed so delayed after Comic Con. Crud. Bruticus is still on my want list but then I will have to be done. Maybe before...

Actually, wave 3 stuff seems to be hitting earlier than anticipated. A LOT of the "October-ish" items have hit early, with some stuff hitting a few weeks back (newest wave of GI Joe Classified, for example). Likely a result from the "shipping rush" companies did early in the summer to get inventory here for the holidays.

But Hasbro has a "Transformers Day" presentation next week with some big announcement (NOT a Titan Class figure, but a "Titan caliber" thing). If preorders don't go up then, then they'll announce the date of preorders, I'm sure. Entertainment Earth has Hasbro putting out new preorders the 17th and 18th.
