Democrats thought the 2024 election was a contest to see who was the more qualified candidate. It wasn't. The 2024 election was a referendum on "wokeness".

That's why Trump won. The people who elected him do not give one jive that he's terrible, or that he's incompetent, or that he'll run the country into the ground. They believed that by voting for him, they were casting a vote against "wokeness". That was the only thing they cared to know.

Even now, you can easily trigger any group of Trumpers into losing their jive by promoting "wokeness" in their presence.

To be fair, Republicans aren't the only ones who don't understand the concept of an election. Many "progressives" were under the impression that the election was an opportunity to send a message to the Democratic Party about the immorality of sucking Israel's dick, and they used it for that purpose, regardless of the consequences.

Also 3 Dems did vote with the Rs, while Rand Paul flipped.

Yeah, look at the 3 dems. One is an independent who caucuses with them (which should stop NOW), one is Fetterman who clearly turned into a republican stooge after his brain damaging stroke.

Seriously, Fetterman needs to be a one term wonder. Get him to assisted living where he needs to be. He can watch Fox and yell at the clouds all day in a safe environment where he can't harm anyone's future.

We all were because he seemed to be bringing a lot of fight to the Senate. And then he had a stroke and that was that.

Ironbite-it's amazing how we can all point at that as the point of his decline.

The correlation has been made before. hug, it's been pointed out a lot, especially when Fetterman himself said that Republican talking points make more sense after his stroke.

You know, even if you disliked Kamala Harris or the entire Democratic party, you should be honest enough to admit that their predictions about a Trump presidency were pretty much 100% accurate.

A lot of people criticized them for relying on "fearmongering" during the election, but it's not fearmongering when it's true.

PSA for anyone with dark skin: the Trumpers say you need to "assimilate", but no matter how hard you try, they'll never accept you as one of their own.

You can listen to their horrid music: Kid Rock or Jason Aldean or whatever other abomination they like. You can drive their ridiculous oversized penis-compensation pickup trucks. You can wear their childish cowboy role-play costumes. You can attend every church event. You can even go full "pick me" boy, wear the stupid red hat, laugh at their ugly racist jokes, and agree with every horrible opinion they have.

But despite sacrificing every last shred of dignity, you'll never be one of them. They'll never see past the colour of your skin. You'll always be an outsider, and if ICE mistreats you, they'll clap for the "thin blue line" and say "thank you for your service" to the ICE agent who just stomped your face.

Have some self-respect. Stop bending over backward to "assimilate" with the worst people in the country. If push ever comes to shove, they won't lift a finger to help you.

Democrats when they had the White House and their supporters asked them to use various "nuclear options" to push through Republican obstructionism: "No, even though it's perfectly legal, because we're absolutely terrified of looking radical".

Republicans when they're caught with Nazi flags and saying in private chats that Hitler was a great guy and they should create gas chambers for dissidents: "F*ck you, get over it".

Republicans when judges rule against them and they just ignore the ruling and keep doing what they were told to stop doing: "F*ck you, get over it".

The media: "both sides have their radicals".
