Gotta Catch 'Em All! - Pokémon Thread

I would imagine they would do minifigures of key characters with 1 or 2 Pokémon included, much like the current CMFs. But, yeah, those things would fly off the shelves.

Have a sneak peek at The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd and Pichu! Coming sometime in 2027 to...Disney+ and Disney XD?! Okay...

I DO like the voices for this one. And the animation is, of course, top notch. I'm looking forward to this.

Also, just a heads up. Disney XD is airing the classic Kanto-era Pokemon anime. So, if you're feeling nostalgic and happen to still have cable, check it out sometime!

Question! Is this a good thread for general monster catching games, or just Pokemon?

I've been playing through the other 'big' names in the genre recently that I haven't already played and I have access to, other than PalWorld since I'll die on the hill that it's not actually in the genre, and would love to discuss them.

I just got to a certain meeting in Cassette Beasts. God I'm excited for the sequel next year.

Edit:
45 hours later, and I'm going to be real. I think I liked this more than mainline Pokemon. I'm still deeply looking forward to WiWa, but I may just be looking forward to Cassette Beasts 2002 more, now.

PS: Sunny is best partner.

Second edit:
65 hours in and other than the secret boss that I have no interest in grinding to get to, I've basically 100% this. All beasts recorded, all quests cleared.

FANTASTIC game. The build-crafting in this is scratching my Looter Shooter brain in a lovely way.

Lovely Spam! Wonderful Spam!

(I've heard of spamming moves, but this is ridiculous!)

Pokemon is getting a special collaboration with Spam in South Korea. Because Spam is big holiday business in other countries, apparently.

There's something kinda disturbing about Charmander's happy, smiling face being plastered on a can of processed meat. Hasn't Charmander been through enough?! And Ditto Spam just does not sound appetizing. Some of the plushies are cute, though.

...But, I'll admit, this feels like a missed opportunity for a "Farfetch'd in Leek-Onion Gravy" Spam flavor. Or a "Smokey Emboar" flavor.

I like Spam sometimes, but I'm not sure if I want 15 cans- oh, who am I kidding, if I didn't have to worry about shipping taxes or scalpers I'd probably get them just for the plush.

As of today, Fire Red and Leaf Green should be compatible with Pokemon Home.

From the sounds of things you only need to send ONE Pokemon over for it to sync to your Dex in-game. You can also only send over one of some Legendary Pokemon over to Home, so you can't just start a new game and get a bunch of Legendaries. It's a one way trip, so I'd just send one over the first time, just to update your Home Dex. If you manage to complete the Kanto Dex from these games in Home, you can get yourself a Celebi!

Wish there were a way to report spammers on Pokemon Home. I mean a guy wants Eternal Flower Floette for Sword and Shield as a example.

I was at Gamestop yesterday and picked up a pack of the 30th anniversary to open up as I was told that they all have a Pikachu in it. The guy at the counter said he had bad luck pulling packs, so I had him get me one of the top instead of the bottom, and it had a full art Mewtwo EX in it! Not a bad pack!
