Is the Super7 stuff good? Our friends at BigBadToyStore have Super7 Ultimates B.A.T. for $16.50, and that seems like a good price to me unless there's a flaw that isn't obvious from the stock pictures.

Generally, yeah. It’s still a mass produced “toy” and still subject to the QC roulette, but I’ve not had issues with any my Super7 stuff.
Boys, hold on to your butts…we got Cowboys and Dinosaurs a comin’!
The new Cowboy figure previewed a couple weeks back is a new character named Sundown (yes, the COPS N Crooks Texas Rangers sported that name, but the figure looks more like Overwatch’s McCree). Legacy Collection is getting a new Action Soldier, Special Ops, looking like he stepped out of a Call of Duty.
Cobra, meanwhile, has Professor RottClaw equipping Paleo Vipers with Deinonychus raptors, along with another entry in Crystal Ball’s Dire-Tech legions (a Night Viper rework).
To cap things off, thus far, is a “Battle in a Box” set featuring Snake Eyes (ARAH prototype colors) on a modified Ferret going against a Crimson Trouble Bubble with Viper.
Also, Hydro-Viper is getting a hell of a year between the Reaction+ Action Force figure and the fantastic looking Classified release.

-Professor RottClaw and the Paleo Viper are part of a single release. It will be a deluxe figure with multiple heads/accessories.
-February 17 will be preorder day for the next main line wave (Overkill, Sundown, Dawn Moreno, Airtight, Hydro-Viper), along with the deluxe Cobra La Royal Guard. The remaining items will roll out over the next several weeks.
-Walmart will be getting the following exclusives: Night Viper with DireTech and the Super7 “Stars and Stripes” assortment noted before.
-Ninja Force Zartan will be a Target exclusive
TMNTxGI Joe:
-Line releases in July, full retail roll out.
-Amazon will get an exclusive Turtle-fly Copter with WildBill/Raph
-SDCC exclusive version of Snake Eyes/Leo that comes with Timber/Rahzar
-Target exclusive reissues of the Turtle Tank and 4 pack of the military Turtles.
-Noted in reports that these will be the extent of the line due to the end of the Playmates Turtle license.

So we got new characters, a wide spectrum pull of characters from across GI Joe’s history, and they opted to decorate the showroom, in the year of our lord 2026, with Ninja Force Zartan, Battle Armor Cobra Commander and 91 Snake Eyes.

Just for some clarification due to mis-naming: the upcoming Walmart exclusive is a DIRE Tech equipped Night CREEPER, not VIPER, as erroneously reported. So I guess this means we can add ghost/zombie ninjas to the wackiness being offered this year?

Reportedly, that is Hasbro’s GI Joe offering for the 250th Anniversary of America, exclusive to Walmart just like the Super7 assortment. Presumably, it will be available during the Walmart CollectorCon alongside the DIRETech Night Creeper.
Let me guess, the rest of the assortment is Scarlett as Daphne, Lady Jaye as Velma, Mutt & Junkyard as Shaggy and Scooby, and Zartan as Old Man Jenkins with an APC decked out as the Mystery Machine, right?
If that were true, it would be the most non-android classified figures I ever bought...

I’m still not a fan of how the “explosion back” was recolored. My brain is immediately associating the color mix to “Iron Grenadier” since those figures, in the vintage days, came with a blue/purple backing to differentiate them from the “normal” Joe/Cobra figures.
I found it yesterday at Walmart. I’m going to get a few more if I see them. It will be a nice little fleet. Hopefully we get a blue variant sometime too.
