Found the Ninja Force Cobra Commander and Snake Eyes, and Tiger Force Wild Bill at my nearest Target last night. My wife had checked it 2 or 3 days ago, and there was nothing, so apparently the new product for resets is starting to get put out.
Tangentially, directly across the aisle is the TMNT stuff now, and they had the TMNTxGI Joe crossovers. A lone Leonardo Snake Eyes, and the Turtle AWE Striker and Dragonfly. (Also, a non-Joe tank and a 4-pack of armed forces Turtles). TMNT isn't in my collecting wheelhouse normally, but they look pretty cool!

A preview for the Crimson SNAKE armor, to be fully revealed this week at SDCC. Probably a Pulse Exclusive like most of these higher price point items have been.

I found Krangstro while on vacation in VA Monday. I wasn't expecting his wave to be out. Now that I am back home, I am waiting for my Target to reset so I can get Cobra Shredmander.

My Target had 1 Snake-Leo, 1 Storm Slash, 2 Comander Shredders and 3 Roadblock Ralph when I found them two days ago.

I got Snake Eyes for me and Storm Shadow as a gift for someone. I would probably have gone with Dest-Krang as the gift if they'd had him.

-ZacWilliam I've been to like 5 different Targets a total of like 10 times in the last 4 days trying to find any of the new MotU stuff (mostly Sketchbook Skeletor), mine was the only one to have the Turtle Joes out (and only one other had Origins Film Duncan and TriClops.)

I went to Target, and what did I find? GUESS!

I lie, I found a lone Tiger Force Wild Bill. But literally nothing else aside from empty shelves with tags. Didn't surprise me, I strongly suspect a robust speculator/fan/scalper population in the region.

But I would have liked to get the Ninja Force guys.

The Hasbro GI Joe Reveals, the Pulse recap. They revealed a LOT of stuff

First off, ha ha to Transformers fans, we’re getting Eric Siebenaler! I think the guy who designed Powercore Combiners is a solid addition to the Joe team.

I’m probably more excited to see the Retro Collection for next year, which is said to be all animated movie based, with teases for previously exclusive/special releases being redone/rerelased. So, I’m thinking Serpentor, Chuckles, and Pythona as being on that shortlist. Maybe a modified release for Nemesis Enforcer. I’m just thrilled to see the the animated movie FINALLY start to get meaningful recognition on a corporate level for once. Maybe it’s because the comic-centric old guard finally went away when Hasbro moved to the 6“ scale or something.

It’ll be fun to see the new designs they got cooking, like Ninja Force Jinx and Flatline (A Lenny-designed Dreadnok with a “defibrillator hammer”). I mean, they pretty much had me at “Defibrillator Hammer”. Shipwreck should be interesting, the old team should still have been design leads on him.

Super7 is teasing a Fatal Fluffies release with BBTS. A quick sell out and long unavailable, the image shows a trio of the beast. Maybe a troop builder set?

A Joe-heavy con netted me some autographs, but also collection gains!

"After Action Report" a guide to G.I. Joe comics full of anal retentive details in a VERY cramped format. Pages have no wasted space, and I mean that in the worst way.

A $20 mystery box I took a chance on. I don't feel robbed, but I don't feel like I gained anything.

Comics. The (infamous) 109 and 110 killing off fan favorites. Wanted 110 specifically for having a page left out of the then IDW "G.I. Joe Classics" vol. 11 trade, which I need to confirm if the collection(s) from Sky bound also left it out. Given how they just reused the format of previous Transformers collection, I have reason to believe it'll be the same for G.I. Joe.

#136 still had it's included trading card, European Missions 1 and 2 (re) printed the "Ancient Relics" crossover with Transformers, and I didn't have gijvstfII #4.

G.I. Joe #110, with the page following the missiles launching, omitted from the trade:

Probably just a goof. Really messes with someone reading the trades thinking the SAW Viper was killed there, but is shows up alive gloating about his kills.

I generally avoid the Classified line outside of Cobra Commander, but I just had to get an order in for the Hydro Viper when I saw it was available on Walmart.com without a markup. I had the original back in the day and it was one of my favorite figures.

I was thinking of buying the Super7 version, but the Classified scratches the itch much better.

New Joe, or Joe-ish, stuff, but not from Hasbro-
Super7 is continuing their comic book packs, with issue 2 being a comic-styled Arctic Snake Eyes. Among the included accessories is Kwinn’s infamous necklace.

Site Sponsor, BBTS, is continuing its push into the made to order collector market. They’ve launched the Big Bad Launch Pad, a MTO/Kickstarter type initiative. For Joe fans, the BBWS NPC (Non-playable Character) segment might be of interest, offering non-standard 6” scale figures to compliment “the name brands”. Funded well past its goal, you can pick from a mob boss (whose facial scarring definitely reminds me of something), a Cheerleader, a SWAT Officer (including an extended accessory pack which has a totally not Jim Gordon headsculpt), and a “Prime Time News Anchor”, bearing an uncanny resemblance to one, Hector Ramirez. There is another variant of the News Anchor if funding levels are reached. Both include a NUMBER of accessories very Anchorman inspired.
