black_convoy on Instagram shares images from the Blokees Community Discord, unveiling the packaging and lineup for the latest series of Blokees Defender Version Transformers mini-kits. Series 8 is called Battle Stars, and fittingly, it features a strong lineup led by Battlestars... um... stars, Star Convoy Optimus Prime and Super Megatron.
This collection follows on from the similarly well-set-up series 7, which had headliners Lio Convoy and Big Convoy facing off against Predacon leaders BW2 Galvatron and Magmatron. This next wave scales that back to be more on par with series 6, with one pair of leaders and their altmodes joined by a dino-mode G1 Dinobot and someone from Shattered Glass... and a neat roster. Star Optimus Prime and Super Megatron are available three ways, as standard releases and regular and super chase versions with more gear and paint. They're joined by their altmodes -- Super Megatron and, notably, (just?) Star OP's trailer, and fellow Battlestars alum Sky Garry. The wave is rounded out by a good mix of mostly G1-and-adjacent characters: dino mode Swoop, Tarn, Shattered Glass Goldbug, (Glittering) G1 Smokescreen, Windblade, Arcee, and Drift!
This is an exciting series with a lot of new sculpts and new characters. Eight waves in and these little bots are keeping the momentum up!

Is it time for your little-bot collection to reach for the stars?
